7th September 2011 - Exciting news!

Today we are featured in the Wooly Wonder showcase on UK Handmade website!

Our Rose Corsage/brooches were chosen as one of 50 featured handmade products made from the UK!

HURRAY!!

Also on the same day I received a commission/custom order to make a granny square blanket to match one of my cushions a lovely customer has bought. So 225 squares to go!!!

8 August 2011 - Returning from holidays

I've been away camping with the family so had no chance to update the website. Now I'm back and spending some time updating the website.

I did manage to make another gorgeous cushion on holiday. I'll try and post a photo later.

2 August 2011 - Flowers and Butterflies

Well I have now had a couple of days hooking and have almost made two gorgeous flowery cushions which I promise to add to the website soon! Here is a sneaky preview of them being made...

They are based on a design I found in an 1960s homecraft magazine! And when I was outside picking some flowers, guess what I saw....

Perhaps it was attracted to the lovely flowery cushion!

30 July 2011 - Welcome to Rose Cottage Crafts

Today was the first day of the new website. It was very exciting adding all the lovely pictures of our products. However, it is a sunny afternoon and I look out of our window and see a million colours bursting out in the garden. I want to be reaching for my hook and yarn to make some crochet flower cushions. Best leave this website under construction for today and get crocheting!
